Our certified electricians will meticulously inspect your electrical system by performing the following critical checks:
- Inspect for signs of overheating/arching/oxidation in the panel.
- Check that breakers/fuses are sized correctly and that the panel cover is secure and accessible.
- Check that all electrical panels, breakers, and outlets are correctly labeled for easy identification.
- Examine the service entrance cable for any signs of wear or damage.
- Verify secure attachment and that there is no corrosion on service conductors.
- Test and replace smoke/CO detector batteries and check expiration dates.
- Ensure smoke/CO detector placement in bedrooms, outside sleeping areas, and each level.
- Inspect outdoor outlets/covers for damage and functionality.
- Locate and test emergency disconnect switches for major appliances.
- Check the electric service for proper grounding/bonding and verify that it meets local codes.
- Test GFCI outlets in wet areas (kitchen, bathrooms, outdoors.) for proper operation.
