Factsheet About the PSE&G High-Efficiency Rebate Program
- Only high-efficiency equipment qualifies.
- You cannot use OBR (On-Bill Repayment) without a rebate, but you can use a rebate without an OBR.
- $15,000 max (1) PSE&G account
- One term only: 84 months (7 years), equal payments, no interest.
- If you sell your house, you must notify PSE&G 60 days before the closing to pay off the loan, or the closing might be held up.
- No credit application is needed as long as you hold a PSE&G account in good standing. If you have been in the house for less than 12 months, you must have a previous PSE&G account.
- A home equipped with energy-efficient appliances will pay less annually for energy usage.
