Plumbing Protection Inspection Walkthrough

When you join our Home Comfort Club Plumbing Protection Plan, you will receive a yearly comprehensive inspection of your entire plumbing system. Here’s what you can expect…

WE’RE ON OUR WAY…

You will receive a text or phone call when the Air Group Plumber is en route to your home, giving you time to prepare. This is also an excellent time to clear any objects or clutter from around the areas we will be inspecting (basement, bathrooms, etc.).

YOUR PLUMBER WILL BE READY

Your highly trained professional plumber will arrive at your home fully prepared in a fully stocked van to inspect your entire plumbing system. They will introduce themselves at your door and, with your permission, proceed inside to begin the inspection after they put on protective foot covers to protect your flooring. Their fully loaded truck contains all the necessary tools, equipment, and parts to address any issues they might encounter during the inspection.

ON TO THE INSPECTION!

Now, it’s time to start your plumbing inspection. First, we will check your home’s water pressure. Imagine this as the force behind your water flow—too weak, and you’ll be waiting forever for that shower to heat up; too strong, and you risk damage to the plumbing system. We want that happy medium, ensuring a nice, consistent flow throughout your home.

Next, we’ll examine your water quality. You deserve fresh, clean water, and this test will identify any imbalances, such as hardness or chlorine levels, that might affect the taste or even damage your appliances. Safety is essential, so the next check is your water temperature. We want that hot water to be toasty but not scalding hot.

Then, we will perform a dye test to sniff out any hidden leaks in your toilet tanks. These silent leaks can waste hundreds of gallons of water, causing high water bills and potential water damage.

EMERGENCY AND EFFICIENCY

Most importantly, we will locate and mark your home’s emergency shut-off valves. Knowing where these valves are in a plumbing emergency can save you valuable time from potential damage.

Your plumber will then check how efficiently your water heater works appropriately, ensuring those morning showers stay nice and hot. We will also look at all your faucets, toilets, and showers to ensure they work smoothly and efficiently. No more leaky faucets driving you crazy!

Finally, your sump pump is your silent hero against flooding for folks with basements. We will perform a function test to ensure it is in tip-top shape and ready to handle emergencies.
